• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service, and recommends items for sale.
• Handles transactions, maintains store cleanliness, and assists with inventory and pharmacy duties, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, and supporting pharmacy workflow.
• Ensures compliance with laws and policies, manages inventory, and supports store displays and maintenance.
• Provides photo services, web order fulfillment, and maintains store appearance.

Training & Personal Development

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
• Fluent in English; willing to work flexible hours; preferred retail experience and knowledge of pharmacy operations.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, depending on various factors.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification are preferred.
