- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients, greets them, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends items and assists in stock and inventory management.
- Handles transactions, returns, and exchanges, and assists in locating products.
- Supports pharmacy duties, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting pharmacists.
- Ensures compliance with legal and company policies, maintains store appearance, and supports inventory and promotional activities.
- Provides photo services and web order fulfillment.
- Maintains store cleanliness and adheres to policies.
Training & Personal Development
- Earns and maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred: experience in retail, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
This position remains open until filled. Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour. The role is full-time, and Walgreens is an equal opportunity employer.
