Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a in-store teammate to deliver a distinctive customer experience and support pharmacy operations. You will handle cash register transactions, greet customers, and assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in transactions, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager to maintain store standards and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate dispensing (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Engages customers, offers help, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised, maintains records and pricing as directed.
• Supports Pharmacy Department with inventory management and filing warehouse discrepancies.
