Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to deliver courteous checkout service and assist the pharmacist under supervision. You will greet customers, handle prescriptions with pharmacy systems, and support inventory, merchandising, and daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires English fluency (Puerto Rico considerations apply) and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; Puerto Rico exception noted in basic qualifications.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Register purchases, manage cash register transactions, and handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
• Maintain clean, organized counters and shelves and assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and pharmacists in workflow, entry of patient/drug data, and adherence to policies.
