Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; provide courteous, friendly checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; verify accuracy.
• Maintain inventory and merchandising; handle receipts, refunds, and exchanges.
• Support pharmacy workflow and communication with physicians as needed.
