Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in North Carolina to assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and deliver friendly, efficient checkout service. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and help ensure accuracy and safety in dispensing medications.

Role requires PTCB certification, fluency in English, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience is a plus, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide pharmacy

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• PTCB certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and processes transactions.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing prescriptions.
• Provides courteous customer service and helps locate products.
• Maintains store cleanliness and merchandising.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures.
