Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescriptions.
• Good computer skills and inventory knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• We will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services.
• Models customer service best practices to deliver a delightful experience.
• Registers purchases on the cash register and handles payments and returns.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and workflow under supervision.
• Maintains clean counters and shelves, checks in prices, and stock rotates.
• Uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and fill prescriptions.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per policy.
• Adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policies and company code of conduct.
• Handles phone inquiries that do not require pharmacist attention.
• Provides in-store services in photo area and assists with web order pickups.
