Job summary

Walgreens in Irving, TX is seeking a friendly team member to greet customers, operate the register, and provide fast, courteous checkout while supporting the pharmacy team under supervision.

You will assist pharmacists with entering patient data, processing prescriptions, and handling routine tasks while maintaining accurate records, inventory, and displays. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Engages customers and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains counters and shelves, checks in and prices merchandise, and assists with inventory.
