Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for prescriptions and counting medications.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on the cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Engage customers to offer assistance and resolve questions for a positive experience.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves and handle merchandise pricing.
• Support pharmacy operations, inventory management, and claims processing.
