Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver exceptional service at the point of sale while supporting the pharmacy department under supervision. You will process prescriptions, assist customers, and maintain organized, clean store conditions across departments.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly interactions, and adherence to company policies. PTCB certification is preferred and flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under supervision with pharmacy tasks and patient information input.
• Engages customers and patients, greeting and assisting with products and services.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; takes inventory and pricing notes.
• Follows store policies and procedures; supports Pharmacy Manager and staff Pharmacists.
• Handles phone calls not requiring pharmacist attention and processes claims for third-party prescription services.
• Supports inventory management and displays setup.
