Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Customer Service Associate with pharmacy support duties in Union City, NJ. You will greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and provide efficient checkout service while supporting the pharmacist under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Retail experience preferred (6 months).
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurately filling prescriptions, including counting and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and partner products to customers.
• Registers purchases at the cash register and handles returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed.
• Assists pharmacists by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and checking for interactions.
• Maintains store cleanliness and merchandising; assists with inventory and price checks.
• Supports Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist with workflow and dispensing activities.
