Job summary

Walgreens is seeking aCustomer Experience Associate to deliver a distinctive, courteous experience at the register and assist pharmacists under supervision. You will engage customers, handle transactions, and support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, processing prescriptions with care, maintaining displays, and supporting inventory and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Registers customer purchases on the cash register and handles transactions and returns as needed.
• Assists pharmacists under direct supervision with entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; assists with inventory and pricing.
• Assists in pharmacy operations including scheduling and workflow management.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to policy and code of conduct.
• Handles non-pharmacist calls and basic clerical duties.
• Assists with inventory management and damage/shortage claims.
• Maintains store appearance and exterior/interior maintenance as directed.
