Job summary

Walgreens New London, CT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and provide a friendly, efficient checkout and patient assistance. You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and assist with inventory and store operations.

Requirements include English fluency, willingness to work evenings/weekends, and PTCB certification/state registration; prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• PTCB certification and state registration preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and handles payments safely.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision in entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory records.
• Supports Pharmacy Manager and staff with workflow and compliance with pharmacy policies.
