Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and ensure accurate dispensing while delivering courteous customer service.

The role involves working with store teams, handling inventory, and supporting various pharmacy operations. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends is preferred and prior Walgreens experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager, including entering patient and drug information and verifying medicine.
• Handles prescription errors and adheres to pharmacy policies and Code of Conduct.
• Maintains counters and shelves, assists with inventory and stock rotation.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and supports web pick-up responsibilities.
