Walgreens in Bannockburn, IL is seeking an Pharmacy Associate to deliver excellent customer service at checkout and assist the pharmacist with processing prescriptions under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and ensure accuracy in dispensing, while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory control.

The role requires English fluency, a flexible schedule, and prior retail experience; PTCB certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout.
• Registers customer purchases and handles cash transactions.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision, enters patient and drug information, and processes prescriptions.
• Maintains clean, merchandised counters and shelves; supports inventory and pricing tasks.
• Handles pharmacy-related clerical duties and communicates prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
