Job summary

Walgreens in Mobile, AL is seeking a Pharmacy Support Team member who provides courteous, efficient checkout and helps pharmacists with prescription processing under supervision. You will assist customers in locating products, maintain store ambiance, and support inventory and merchandising tasks on a fast-paced retail floor.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
Good math skills to count, measure and weigh medications.
Good computer skills expected.
Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, and ensures pricing accuracy as directed.
Supports Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with pharmacy workflows and error reporting.
Handles requests for prescription processing, returns, and exchanges per policy.
Maintains general store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
