Responsabilidades

• Safely transports prescription medications, refill orders, specialty medications, supplies, and pharmacy inventory between facilities.
• Maintains chain of custody and security of all medications during transport.
• Drives according to established policies for temperature-controlled items.
• Verifies delivery and receipt documentation as required.
• Responds promptly to urgent medication delivery requests.
• Maintains daily activity logs of routes, stops, and items transported.
• Delivers pharmacy supplies, inventory items, equipment, mail, and operational materials.
• Collects and returns pharmacy-related documents and shipments.
• Assists with movement of inventory to support stock optimization.
• Sorts and organizes delivery items according to planned routes.
• Reports discrepancies, damaged items, or delivery concerns to leadership.
• Keeps courier vehicle clean and maintained; ensures fuel and service are up to date.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and prescription information per HIPAA.
• Attends required safety, compliance, and department training.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness and safety procedures.
