Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, a member of the Guardian family, is hiring a route delivery driver in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves planning efficient routes, delivering totes to facilities, and following privacy and safety protocols.

We require 21+ years old, 2+ years’ experience, and a valid state driver’s license. Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to succeed in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute).
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Determine most efficient and logical route for each route assigned.
• Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure.
• Deliver correct totes to facilities in a timely manner.
• Exchange facility emergency kits and IV boxes as needed.
• Pick-up returned items and refused medications while following safety protocols.
• Complete all paperwork/filing requirements accurately at end of each shift.
• Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and advise when repairs are needed.
