Job summary

PharMerica in Kauai, HI is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Courier to join a closed-door pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living clients. You will deliver medications, load/unload materials, and maintain accurate documentation in a non-retail environment.

The role involves route planning, vehicle safety checks, and professional customer interactions. Training and license fees are covered; hours Tue-Sat 10:30am-2:30pm with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Licenses/certifications as required by regulations and business needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely during deliveries.
• Plan routes and manage time to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Prepare and manage documentation for transportation of goods.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report issues.
• Follow established procedures for daily tasks.
• Interact courteously with customers to ensure a positive service experience.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As a Pharmacy Courier you will:

• Load & Unload Materials: Safely loads, transports, and unloads materials, goods, and equipment between assigned destinations.
• Route & Time Management: Efficiently plans and manages routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Documentation Handling: Prepares, receives, and manages all necessary documentation to ensure accurate and on-time transportation of goods.
• Vehicle Safety & Maintenance: Conducts daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle and promptly reports any issues to the manager. Adheres strictly to all safety protocols.
• Procedure Compliance: Follows pre-established guidelines and instructions to carry out daily tasks effectively.
• Customer Interaction: Communicates with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive service experience.
• Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
