Children's National Hospital is seeking a 340B Coordinator to manage the 340B drug program, ensuring compliance and efficiency. The role encompasses oversight of drug purchasing, data analysis, vendor relationships, and quality assurance, making it a critical position in the hospital's operations.
The 340B Coordinator will manage and work with the 340B Program Manager to maintain the hospital's 340B drug program in an auditable state. Responsibilities include overseeing covered outpatient drug purchasing, inventory processes, dispensing pattern reconciliation, data analysis and trending, monthly reporting on savings opportunities, and split billing software maintenance. The Coordinator must ensure compliance with all regulations, full implementation across qualified areas, and monitor utilization records and purchasing accounts to ensure software accuracy. Serving as a liaison for software vendors and wholesalers, the Coordinator will maintain collaborative relationships, resolve issues promptly, oversee quality assurance, and ensure SOP adherence. They will also lead the multidisciplinary 340B Workgroup and report to the 340B Executive Steering Committee regarding compliance and expansion initiatives.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting with an emphasis in healthcare highly preferred (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
1 year in healthcare setting (Required)
5 years preferred
Required Skills/Knowledge
5 years as a Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy buyer, or related purchasing/finance/auditing experience in hospital pharmacy or business operations. Proficiency in data manipulation, MS Excel, data analysis, and excellent communication skills. Experience in healthcare, preferably pediatric, with 340B and pharmaceutical purchasing knowledge highly preferred.
Required Licenses and Certifications
Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the District of Columbia or equivalent experience in auditing, finance, or data analytics in healthcare settings.
