The Pharmacy Controlled Substance Technician Specialist is an integral role in the oversight of controlled substances and facility regulatory processes. Responsibilities include: managing the controlled substance inventory, providing information needed for the Multidisciplinary Diversion Team (MDT) analysis by using analytical tools, reviewing controlled substance overrides, performing audits and reconciliations, assist during investigations, participation in discrepancy resolutions, responsible for accurately performing advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner.
