Job summary

WTW is seeking a Pricing Senior Analyst in the Pharmacy Pricing area to collaborate with FAA and Pharmacy Practice teams on designing, financing, and managing pharmacy benefit programs. You will work on complex financial analyses, pricing models, and client deliverables, advancing your health benefits acumen and client management skills.

You will analyze data, develop client analyses, and contribute to RFP responses while coordinating with consultants and the team to ensure quality and timely

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, public health, health management or any other major with significant quantitative course work.
  • Strong financial skills: prior experience in pharmacy pricing, underwriting or valuation work preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with consultants and team members to perform financial analyses including cost savings and data analysis projections, review and update of pricing and other analytical models
  • Develop client analyses and other related documents for WTW clients and prospects including presentations and review of pharmacy contracts
  • Analyze, compare and negotiate vendor products, services, contracts and pricing guarantees
  • Design, distribute and evaluate responses to RFPs
  • Serve as project manager; contribute to project plan creation and assist the team on delivery; ensure progress against established objectives, timelines, deliverables and quality standards
  • Support the pharmacy practice on intellectual capital initiatives such as development of new financial models or tools as applicable
  • Assist with the preparation of client deliverables

Description

The Pricing Senior Analyst works within the Financial, Actuarial and Analytics (FAA) team and closely with the Pharmacy Practice within Health and Benefits. As a Pharmacy Pricing Senior Analyst you will contribute to a wide variety of complex projects involving design, financing and ongoing management of pharmacy benefit programs. This is a foundational role that provides excellent opportunities to grow your pharmacy and broader health and benefits financial acumen and client management skills by working on cutting edge projects alongside leaders in the industry.

Responsibilities

As a Pricing Senior Analyst specializing in pharmacy, you will work beside some of the industry’s top consultants while you progress toward becoming a thought leader of the future.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and internally present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Partner with consultants and team members to perform financial analyses including cost savings and data analysis projections, review and update of pricing and other analytical models

Qualifications

  • Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (analyst type of internship preferred)
  • Strong financial skills: prior experience in pharmacy pricing, underwriting or valuation work preferred

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD annually.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
