Job summary

Concord Hospital in Concord, NH is seeking a Pharmacy Compounding Specialist to perform sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding under supervision. The role requires USP guideline adherence and the ability to support medications delivery across patient care units.

You will work with pharmacists, train other technicians, and ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician through an accredited program required.
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in NH is required; CPhT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and compounds sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous products following applicable USP guidelines.
  • Completes administrative tasks associated with pharmacy operations, IV room, and automation.
  • Stocks, maintains, and troubleshoots automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and other pharmacy automation.
  • Maintains competency and performs duties of Pharmacy Technician 2; participates in training staff.

## Pharmacy Compounding Specialist | Full Time | Rotating ShiftApplylocations: Concord, New Hampshiretime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R25493**Summary**Under the direction of the Compounding Quality Supervisor, Pharmacy Leadership, and pharmacists, the Compounding Specialist is responsible for sterile and nonsterile preparation compounding as well as hazardous sterile and nonsterile compounding. Demonstrates competency and technical proficiency in all applicable USP chapters. This role requires independent performance of complex technical tasks and the ability to serve as a resource for less experienced technicians. In addition, the Compounding Specialist must possess competency in preparing, dispensing, and delivering medications to patient care units, physician offices, and clinics.**Education**High school or equivalent required.
