Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center is seeking an Apothecary Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee personnel, operations, informatics, and regulatory compliance within outpatient services. Under the Manager of Outpatient Pharmacy Services, you will help plan and organize multiple service lines including community retail, specialty, and immunization programs.

You will lead work standards, competency development, scheduling, and workflow while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement programs

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
Two years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience.
Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Active Registered Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance Permit.
BLS within 30 days hire/transfer.
Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
Master's degree in business and/or healthcare administration.
Five+ years of retail pharmacy practice experience.
Previous experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
BLS Certification.
APhA's Medication Therapy Management certificate.
APhA's Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate.
Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certificate.
Consultant Pharmacist Certification.
