Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a pharmacist to monitor and interpret federal and state rules and CMS/JC accreditation standards within the health system. You will collaborate with Directors, managers, clinical pharmacists, and staff to ensure compliance with regulations and 340B considerations, upholding the system's mission and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates will have Ohio pharmacy licensure, 3 years of practice, and a BLS certification, with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

  • Possess a current Pharmacist License from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Experience with regulatory standards, accreditation surveys, or pharmacy compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Track, monitor, review, interpret, and communicate federal and state rules and regulations related to pharmacy practices.
  • Ensure compliance with JC accreditation standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and 340B program requirements.
  • Collaborate with Directors, managers, supervisors, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacists to support accreditation decisions.
  • Uphold The MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
