KabaFusion is seeking a Pharmacy Collections Specialist in Cerritos, CA to ensure unpaid pharmacy benefit claims are collected efficiently across PBM providers, including acute and chronic therapies. You will collaborate with other departments, review remittance advice promptly, and ensure revenue is booked per contract terms.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, knowledge of HCPCS and CPT codes, and at least 1 year of PBM claims experience in billing or collections.

About the role:

This role is pretty simple to define; as an Pharmacy Collections Specialist, you are responsible for getting unpaid claims paid. This could simply be resubmission, attaining missing documentation or medical records, correcting the claim, or getting a letter of medical necessity. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate collections of pharmacy benefit claims. This will include all the major Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies for acute and chronic therapies to include IVIg, TPN’s and antibiotics.

• Collaborate and communicate with other departments as needed to ensure resolution is reached
• Timely review of remittance advice and correspondences
• Ensure revenue is booked according to appropriate contract

As an Pharmacy Collections Specialist, you bring:
