  • Licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts by the hire date.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, ensure optimum patient outcomes related to medication use by preventing or resolving drug‑related issues and optimizing drug therapy. Provide drug information to patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Be integral to the education of pharmacists, residents, and students and serve as a resource and drug expert in one of the seven specialty areas. Strive to increase knowledge through research and writing activities. May also coordinate acquisition, distribution, and control of drug therapy for patients under pharmacist care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide drug information to patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate pharmacists, residents, and students.
  • Serve as a drug resource and expert in a specialty area.
  • Coordinate acquisition, distribution, and control of drug therapy for patients under pharmacist care.
QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation Range: $112,000.00 – $162,500.00 (based on Boston‑area data).
