Job summary

Oakland Pharmacy is seeking dependable Pharmacy Clerks (full-time and part-time) to assist patients and customers. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions, stocking medications, and processing mail-order prescriptions while maintaining a clean, professional storefront.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication skills. Pharmacy experience is helpful but training is available. Benefits and 401k with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions and stock management.
• Familiarity with operating cash register and handling payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run cash register for over-the-counter sales, greet customers, receive payments, and provide services as requested.
• Maintain over-the-counter stock, tag prices, and shelf placement.
• Prepare mail-order and delivery prescriptions by contacting patients and processing charges.
• Place orders for supplies and manage returns with supplier approval.
• Keep shelves and counters neat, check expirations, and maintain a clean storefront and waiting area.
• Maintain punctual attendance and develop professional relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
