Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk for an on-site role in Cheektowaga, NY. You will assist in filling prescriptions, handling unit of use items, and maintaining inventory using scanners in a climate-controlled environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; pharmacy tech certification is preferred but not required in NYS. The job includes 4 on-site days per week with Sunday and Friday shifts, and mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Tech degree (not required in NYS) preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules; verify size and strength.
• Retrieve and process Unit of Use and Bulk items for medication filling.
• Replenish medications in automated systems; open bottles and cases as needed.
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes for inventory management.
• Maintain accuracy when packing, shipping, and processing prescriptions in accordance with SOPs and hardware/software standards.
• Adhere to federal and state HIPAA laws, ensuring patient safety and privacy.
