Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle confidential information

Desired Qualifications

• Any previous comparable experience
• Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier roles
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment

Responsibilities

1. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
2. Follow all safety and sanitation regulations and identify unsafe conditions to management
3. Create a welcoming environment for customers
4. Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas
5. Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management and control of non-legend drugs
6. Manage inventory, including shelf maintenance
7. Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries
8. Promote sales and services to customers and staff
9. Adhere to policies on accepting vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines
10. Operate the cash register following all policies to prevent loss, including handling electronic transactions
11. Provide accurate and efficient medication and product dispensing in compliance with state law
12. Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information
13. Support health and wellness initiatives of the company
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced and stressful environment
15. Manage conflicts in a nonconfrontational manner
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
17. Follow directions and seek assistance as needed
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
