Realo Discount Drug Stores Of Eastern North Carolina Inc is seeking a dedicated Cashier to provide outstanding customer service to patients and support pharmacy operations. The role involves cash handling, prescription scanning, payments processing, and maintaining clean checkout areas.

The cashier will greet customers, stock shelves, assist in inventory counts, and work under the Pharmacist-in-charge to ensure smooth daily operations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate orders.

Responsabilités

• Handle cash transactions using the Point of Sale system.
• Scan prescriptions and collect payment.
• Post payments to the customer AR account.
• Issue receipts, refunds and change for purchases.
• Redeem stamps and coupons.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas and product shelves.
• Maintain transaction reports.
• Open and close the POS register accurately.
• Answer the phone with a courteous voice.
• Stock shelves with merchandise.
• Assist in inventory counts.
• Assist customers with inquiries.
• Perform cashier duties for the pharmacy.
• Report misconduct or unethical activities to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
• Participate in approved surveys by inspection agencies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement Program as requested.
• Pursue continuing education programs relevant to the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist.
