Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up/companion items; assists with OTC products and escorts customers to aisles when possible.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records; assists with price checks and restocking as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensures compliance with regulations for regulated products.
