Job summary

Walgreens in Garden Grove seeks a friendly sales associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the register and on the floor. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and assist with products while processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

You will also learn store systems, support inventory, and help maintain clean displays. Prior retail experience is preferred; training provided; weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure positive experience.
• Register customer purchases at the cash register and handle returns, exchanges, and rain checks.
• Recommend items and trade-up or companion products; assist with OTC products.
• Operate store systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and merchandised; assist with inventory and pricing.
• Follow asset protection procedures and comply with state/local laws on regulated products.
• Assist with displays, promotions, and store maintenance.
• Attend training as requested.
