Job summary

Walgreens Co. is hiring for a part-time/full-time cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and cash handling at the point of sale.

You will greet customers, assist with products, and operate store systems to complete transactions while maintaining a friendly store atmosphere. This role requires fluent English, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and a preference for at least six months of retail experience or prior Walgreens exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Registers customer purchases at the cash register and handles payments and exchanges as needed.
• Assists customers with products, merchandising, and store displays.
• Operates store systems and reports prescription status to pharmacist when applicable.
• Maintains clean counters and shelves, checks in and prices merchandise, and follows loss prevention procedures.
• Contributes to a positive customer experience and resolves issues when they arise.
• Completes special assignments as directed.
