Job summary

Walgreens in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to support pharmacists, assist customers, and operate the register. You will process prescriptions under supervision, use pharmacy systems, and help maintain stock and orderly store conditions.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while adhering to policies and procedures. Prior retail experience and willingness to work evenings/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing processes and using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers at registers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising; assist with inventory and price checks.
• Process prescriptions, verify accuracy, and report any issues to the pharmacist on duty.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff with duties related to pharmacy operations and workflow.
