Job summary

Walgreens seeks a pharmacist to join our team in Idaho. You will provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management to support patient health.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Retail pharmacy experience including prescription filling, verification, records, and compliance with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
