Responsibilities

• Spearhead matter management, tracking and reporting of department operations
• Plan, execute, and oversee legal projects from initiation to completion
• Identify potential legal risks and propose solutions to mitigate them
• Lead process improvement efforts by analyzing legal department workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients

Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal field experience in paralegal, legal research, legal project management, or a related field
• Experience working with multiple teams and levels within a matrixed organization
• Solid technical proficiency
• Proven solid customer service skills
• Proven solid verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Legal research experience
• Legal project management experience or legal operations experience
• Familiarity with matter management systems and contract management systems
• Background in cross-functional legal support, including paralegal certification or comparable practical experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Visio
