Pharmacy Care Coordinator - National Remote

Work Schedule & Location

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm CST with rotating Saturday shifts (9am-6pm CST) every 3-4 weeks. You will have the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Conduct inbound and outbound calls related to medication adherence, member outreach, prescription refills, and provider follow-ups in a call center environment.
  2. Manage calls and assignments to meet census, productivity, and quality standards.
  3. Provide excellent communication and accurate information to customers.
  4. Respond to escalated inquiries through various communication channels.
  5. Review prescription claims and maintain eligibility information confidentially.
  6. Support internal staff and providers with Medicare drug issues and application processes.
  7. Assist with clerical and administrative tasks for clinical staff and managers.
  8. Adhere to schedules and quality metrics.
  9. Contribute to pharmacy quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Assist in training new hires and staff.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees as required.
  12. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with policies.
  13. Work independently with supervision as needed.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy/medical/healthcare setting.
  • At least 1 year of administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with medical terminology.
  • Call center experience.
  • Basic troubleshooting system knowledge.
  • Dedicated, private work area with high-speed internet.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified/Registered Pharmacy Technician.
  • Medical Assistant certification or training.
  • Bilingual proficiency.
  • Experience with Medication Adherence HEDIS Measures.
  • Experience with Rx claims and call documentation platforms.
  • Online softphone experience.
Soft Skills
  • Professional handling of escalated issues.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
  • High professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies.
  • Ability to work independently.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $16.88 - $33.22/hour based on full-time employment, experience, and location. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase, and 401k. All benefits are subject to eligibility.
