Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent education completed.
• TN Pharmacy Tech license required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for patient registration and prescription orders.
• Troubleshoot third party rejects and resolve issues.
• Operate computerized data systems for order entry, claims adjudication, and insurance management.
• Facilitate pharmacy services through calls with patients and ensure delivery transactions.
• Serve as a liaison between patient care units and pharmacy; maintain courteous communication.
• Assist pharmacists and communicate issues to senior staff.
• De-escalate conflicts and provide patient assistance as needed.
• Monitor performance and adjust activities to meet productivity standards.
• Review and process prescription claims for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting service and business operations.
• Assist with training new hires in the call-center and attend required training sessions.
• Handle correspondence with patients and prescribers via inbound/outbound calls and emails.
• Assist pharmacists with packaging medications and maintaining records.
• Prepare and fill prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
