Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Buyer (State Certified Pharmacy Tech) to manage the pharmacy procurement program and maintain inventory control for the Florence, SC campus.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma, completion of a certified pharmacy technician program, and SC State Certification; three years in a related role with management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college-level courses desirable but not required; successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required
• Three years in position required to reach competency level. Management experience preferred.
• State Certified Pharmacy Technician Registration in SC REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Pharmacy procurement program to provide pharmaceuticals and maintain inventory control.
• Collation, preparation, distribution, filing and maintenance of all Pharmacy correspondence, reports and/or policy material.
