MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Buyer (State Certified Pharmacy Tech) to support the Pharmacy Services with procurement and inventory control at the Florence, SC campus. The role requires a State Certified Pharmacy Technician Registration in SC, a High School Diploma, and a certified tech training program.

Three years of experience are preferred, with management experience welcomed.

Job Description

Responsible for the Pharmacy procurement program to provide pharmaceuticals to the Pharmacy Services and maintenance of inventory control. Responsible for the collation, preparation, distribution, filing and maintenance of all Pharmacy correspondence, reports and/or policy material.

Education:

High School Diploma required; college-level courses desirable but not required; successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required

Experience:

Three years in position required to reach competency level. Management experience preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

State Certified Pharmacy Technician Registration in SC REQUIRED
