• Adjudication from Medicare Part D plans and Illinois Department of Public Aid.
• Review and update patient profile demographics and correct census changes.
• Place calls to doctors' offices and facilities, and submit paperwork for prior authorizations, and alternative drug choices.
• Process monthly Accounts Payable invoices.
• Order entry for Accounts Receivable invoices.
• Complete post-consumption billing for ALF each month.

Green Tree Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy located in Minonk, IL, which currently serves almost 100 long term care facilities. As we continue to expand our services, we are in need of a full-time Billing Technician. This position will have responsibilities involving the billing of prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Answer calls from residents and or/facilities with questions about billing statements and insurance coverage.Process Payments.
• Adjudication from Medicare Part D plans and Illinois department of Public Aid.
• Review and update patient profile demographics and correct census changes.
• Place calls to doctors' office and facilities, and submit paperwork for prior authorizations, and alternative drug choices.
• Process monthly Account Payable invoices
