Job summary

Right Dose Pharmacy, part of the Guardian family, is seeking a detail-driven Billing Clerk in Ankeny, IA. You will process patient billing, manage insurance claims, and ensure accurate data entry while providing excellent service to patients, caregivers, medical providers and carriers.

The role requires 1+ years of related experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with deadlines. Flexible hours and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of patient and insurance data with accuracy.
• Ability to navigate billing and claims processes.
• Experience with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Research patient eligibility and insurance coverage.
• Enter information into billing systems and maintain records.
• Process claims adjudication and follow up on rejections.
• Provide timely responses to billing inquiries from patients and providers.
• Assist with open enrollment periods and Medicare plan comparisons.
