Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy Arlington is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to process patient bills and insurance claims accurately, manage daily and month-end billing tasks, and ensure timely reporting.

The role supports patient and provider communications, reconciles accounts, and collaborates with the team to maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Texas licensing preferred.
• Pharmacy tech license or certification per state requirements.
• 1+ years related experience in billing or pharmacy operations.
• Advanced computer skills; experience with pharmacy IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Process patient bills and insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve billing inquiries by phone or electronic means.
• Enter and update patient and insurance information in the billing system.
• Support open enrollment, eligibility checks, and plan comparisons when needed.
• Assist with daily census, credits, and payment processing.
