Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers with accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This role targets a state‑licensed, nationally certified technician in a fast‑paced healthcare setting. Location: North Canton, OH with hybrid, primarily remote work.

Compensation: $22.50/hour. 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience preferred and eligible for structured training and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio).
• National certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, PBM, or managed care).
• Strong communication, documentation and problem solving skills.
• Experience with claims adjudication, billing and Medicaid processing.
• PBM or managed care environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits via calls and follow ups.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues for timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with PBM services to ensure accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all communications and resolutions per payer requirements.

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews
• Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio )
• National certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care)
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
