The successful applicant will conduct benefit verifications and support prior authorization workflows, interacting with providers and pharmacies. Minimum qualifications include at least one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma. This is a seasonal position with full availability required during specified hours.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (must be fully available across this time range)
  • Seasonal (beginning of December thru February)
ROLE IMPACT

This role ensures patients receive timely and accurate access to prescribed therapies by conducting comprehensive benefit verifications and supporting prior authorization workflows. Success in this position supports providers, pharmacies, and patients navigating complex insurance requirements, especially in specialty drug contexts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct benefit investigations and submit prior authorization requests for prescription medications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ year experience in PBM, specialty pharmacy, or prescription benefit verification
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Familiarity with commercial and government insurance plans
  • Knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefit structures
  • Experience supporting physician offices or call center operations
