Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking an Automation/Inventory Technician 3 to manage robotics and automation systems, stock and maintain equipment, and ensure timely medication procurement and distribution.

This role supports data collection, policy development, and training in automation functions, while performing drug dispensing, compounding, billing, and delivery tracking across outpatient pharmacies, with 100% on-site work in the Sacramento area.

Qualifications

• California licensed Pharmacy Technician with required licensure/certification.
• One year of inventory management experience in drug supply.
• Two years of Outpatient or Specialty Pharmacy experience as a licensed technician.
• Experience in Pharmacy Automation.
• Experience overseeing and training pharmacy technicians.
• Knowledge of third-party insurances (Medicare Part B, Medi-Cal).
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations accurately.
• Knowledge of California Pharmacy Law.
• Ability to operate Pharmacy Information System and other computer programs.
• Ability to train and collaborate with other department areas.
• Intermediate computer software skills.
