Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support licensed pharmacists by preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications for prescriptions, including hazardous drugs. Assists a licensed pharmacist, as directed, in preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of both hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceuticals to fill valid prescriptions or medication orders. Performs essential functions related to medication distribution, quality assurance and compliance, and medication inventory management, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and complies with all federal and New York State laws, rules, and regulations as promulgated by the New York State Board of Pharmacy. The starting pay for this position is $20.23/hour which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.
