Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a Lead Pharmacogenomics to provide strategic leadership, clinical implementation expertise, and stakeholder engagement across federal precision medicine initiatives. This role will guide pharmacogenomic programs, clinical pathways, and decision-support tools across multiple healthcare sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health Administration, Health Management, Nursing, Health Administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated project management experience in healthcare environments.
• Experience implementing new clinical pathways, processes, or workflows with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of pharmacogenomics and drug-gene interactions in clinical care.
• Familiarity with CPIC, PharmGKB, DPWG, and FDA labeling.
• Experience with clinical workflow design, process improvement, or toolkit development.
• Experience supporting development or implementation of clinical decision support tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain a public trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacogenomics (PGx) initiatives across multiple sites or virtual environments, ensuring successful adoption.
• Design, develop, and implement clinical pathways, workflows, and toolkits with PGx best practices.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, pharmacists, and lab personnel.
• Review and interpret pharmacogenomic information and drug-gene interactions in clinical care.
• Collaborate with SMEs to guide PGx initiatives and gather feedback.
• Develop and optimize clinical decision support tools and processes.
• Evaluate guidelines (CPIC, PharmGKB, DPWG, FDA) and apply evidence-based resources.
• Engage stakeholders to support project goals and long-term sustainability.
• Provide strategic recommendations and scalable healthcare solutions for PGx programs.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to ensure timely delivery.
