Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Knowledge of the trade area and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, policies, record keeping, security and equipment operation.
• Maintain records, inventory and security on controlled substances.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits.
• Maintain all record keeping for legal compliance and company policies.
• Keep work area clean and professional.
• Ensure timely handling of returns and equipment maintenance.
• Keep policy manuals and references up to date.
